Families of Early College Students - Bay Area (FECSBA) is a discussion and support group for parents of early college students (under 18) in the San Francisco Bay Area, either those attending concurrently with high school or homeschooling, or those attending full-time. Our children attending college classes currently range in age from 9 to 17.

Among the colleges attended by children of our members are De Anza, Foothill, College of San Mateo, City College of San Francisco, San Jose City College, Diablo Valley College, Santa Clara University, UC Berkeley, San Jose State, and Stanford, to name a few.

We share practical information about admissions and registration, age exceptions, auditing, the California High School Proficiency Exam (CHSPE), recommended professors and those to avoid, etc. We also hope that there may be some social connections among some of the young people, who may be pursuing different fields but who share an early start at college classes.
